OUR HISTORY: AA HASSAN & COMPANY traces its origins back to its establishment and formal registration in Kisumu, Kenya, in the year 1997. The company was founded by the late Abdirizak Ali Hassan and currently operates under the chairmanship of Abdinasir Ali Hassan. Initially conceived as an export reseller, the company set its sights on the serendipitously liberalized market in Tanzania, marking its humble beginnings in the pursuit of international trade opportunities.

Q & A: About Hass LPG
Hass Gas is the LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) brand sold and marketed by Hass Group/Genuine Hass Gas is filled and distributed by Hass Group in a genuine sealed Hass Gas branded cylinder. A Hass Gas cylinder has a Hass Gas and/or Hass Logo (printed and engraved on the cylinder). A Hass Gas cylinder’s valve is covered with a quality assurance Hass Gas branded seal.
- Check that the quality assurance seal on the valve is intact or missing.
- Check for brand owner engraving on the cylinder – Hass Petroleum.
- Check the condition of valve.
- Check for any visible cylinder damages.
- Check the weight of cylinder (All our stations and shops have a weighing scale).
- Check that the Hass Gas seal is intact and genuine.
- Request cylinder use demonstration if not sure.
- Keep Hass Gas cylinder in upright position when transporting and storing.
- Observe 30cm separation distance between Hass Gas cylinder and stove/ cooker/ oven.
- Keep the Hass Gas cylinder in an airy place.
- Do not rollover, throw or bang the Hass Gas cylinder.
- Do not store Hass Gas cylinders in exits or aisles.
- Avoid exposing Hass Gas cylinders to rain and direct sun.
When you smell LPG odor, do not panic. Don’t turn on any electrical appliances or light switch.
Turn off LPG regulator. LPG is heavier than air; hence open the lowest openings such as doors, in addition to windows. Remove the cylinder out of the room. Report the incident to our customer service team on XXX
